HOTELS IN FLAGSTAFF

A Sunset Chateau and the Junipine Resort are favourites for the stops around Sedona/Flagstaff - but there are lots of others!

And, NOPE to Flagstaff - I've booked 2 nights in Sedona at the Sedona Real Inn

Amerisuites - beautiful grounds. 2 doubles + sleeper (?) for around $109 - forget that.

Days Inn Route 66 - 2 queens + a rollaway? ($10 for the rollaway) - online booking was out of order - but from expedia.co.uk, around $55 per night - which seems reasonable.

Embassy Suites - 2 beds + sleeper sofa for $109? Looks a bit "stuffy".

Hampton Inn - double suite (2 queens + sofa-bed) for $107 (AAA), with kitchen (that is £67) Not bad, I suppose. (more pictures - and we have a brochure somewhere - pity no balcony or anything.

Course, we could always go back to Holbrook for another night ...... they don't have balconies either (or electric light probably! :))

Or, how about Sedona again or Oak Creek? Oak Creek Terrace or (yum) the Inn on Oak Creek

Only $200 a night!!

Think I'll have a look in the brochure ...... Comfi cottages About £94 for a night in this 2 bedded cottage. Nice!

InnSuites probably has the best value. 2 rooms for £35!!

"Executive / Family 2-Room Suite (Arrival Rate: $57.99) Spacious 2 Room Suite with separate living area and convertible sofa, as well as a private bedroom with 2 Queen beds or a King size bed. All our Suites include a refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, hairdryer and a Hot Healthy Breakfast Buffet & Social Hour. "

But I rather like the Days Inn brekky - although it's only really fruit!!
