HOTELS IN YOSEMITELots of problems with decisions here! I have made enquiries about Four Season's Little Getaway C, and it is available - but I haven't plucked up the courage to book it yet! (Have to phone!) Alternatives Little Valley looks nice - but it's in Mariposa, which is a couple of hours' drive from the park. The MAIN Yosemite Motels - including the Comfort, which is reasonable (and in the right place, at Oakhurst). This one is fabulous. The Yosemite Peregrine Inn - with a wonderful self-catering lodge (although it IS expensive - and the balconies are rather high up in the trees) The Mariposa Lodge? No possibly not - they don't tell you the price! The Shilo Inn. It might look like "Devonport", but it's reasonably priced - can get a double queen with poolside room for about £60 per night. Manzita Hill B&B? or the Homestead? (for if we want one in and one out???) Back |
